Your videos stay on your device

The video you choose is read and processed locally in your browser. We do not upload, receive or store your selected video, its audio, or its filename. Downloads are created locally. Closing the tab ends the task; keep your original and download any result you want to save.

Website requests

Cloudflare serves this website and its application files. Visiting the website sends normal web request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time, to our hosting provider. Cloudflare may process this data to deliver, secure and operate the service under its own policies. Do not put private information in the page URL.

Sample video

Selecting “Try a sample video” downloads a synthetic demonstration clip from this website. Your own videos are never sent in return.

Cookies, analytics and accounts

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits and interactions, such as pages viewed, referring websites and general device or browser information. Google Analytics may use cookies and receives information about your visit. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We do not send your selected video, audio or filename to Google Analytics.

This version has no accounts, payments, advertising scripts or session recordings. Hosting security features may also use cookies when needed. Language is selected through the page URL. Browser media caches and downloaded files remain under your device's control.

Your choices

You can stop compression, remove a selected video, close the tab, or clear website data through your browser. You can control cookies in your browser or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Downloaded files must be deleted from your device separately. Do not use a shared device for private media unless you control its downloads and browser data.
