Using the tool

You may use this website to compress videos you own or have permission to process. You remain responsible for your media and for respecting other people's rights. The tool is free to use and does not require an account.

Compression and limits

Compression is lossy. Quality, file size, speed, browser support and successful completion depend on your device and source media. A target size is a best-effort goal, not a guaranteed ceiling. Input limits are 1 GB and 30 minutes. Target sizes are limited to 120 MB, and practical limits may be lower on your device. HDR, extra audio tracks and subtitles are not supported. Keep a backup of the original and inspect the output before sharing.

Local processing

Your browser does the work. Keep the tab open and your device awake. A browser crash, memory limit, page reload or background suspension can stop processing. We cannot recover an unfinished or unsaved output.

Availability

The service is provided as available, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose or preservation of media quality. Features and limits may change. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Fair use

Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access or use it to facilitate unlawful activity. External sites linked from this website are governed by their own terms.
